Wayne Snodgrass

Wayne Snodgrass was born in Council Grove and graduated from Salina High School. He took his bachelor's degree and his master's from Colorado State University in 1941. He taught in Netawake, Eskridge, and Hiawatha before moving to Clay Center in 1937. He taught in Clay Center for twenty years and directed the municipal band there as well. He was an early leader in the stage band movement.
