Robert Senner

Robert Senner was a native of South Dakota. He earned a bachelor's degree from Bethel College in 1942 and his master's from Wichita State in 1951. He has also studied with Julius Herford, Kert Adler, and Robert Shaw and did graduate work at San Diego State University and at the University of Minnesota. He taught briefly at Fowler before moving to Buhler, where he taught for thirty-one years before retiring in 1974. He was a member of KMEA, MENC, NATS, and ACDA and was active as an adjudicator. He directed the choirs at the Buhler Mennonite Church and was president of the Mennonite Men's Song Festival.
